The Lunambulist

Our English Roots word today was 'luna', meaning moon.  One of the words derived from luna is 'lunambulist', meaning "one whose sleepwalking is caused by the moon".

We were discussing that a lunambulist would be a great idea for a villain.  Someone who does evil deeds once a month during the full moon and doesn't remember because he's been sleepwalking.

Madeline went one better.  She thought it would be great if the superhero spent the other days of the month fighting crime, but he could never catch the bad guy during the full moon.  Of course, that's because it really is the superhero doing the evil deeds, but he doesn't remember because he's been sleepwalking.

Seriously, I think she should start working on that one right away.

Since I've been homeschooled, if I go to high school I'll never really be part of 'them'.  It would be like if I was a muggle-born among the pure bloods at Hogwarts.
